MOUNT PLEASANT HAD 47% SALES RATIO THIS NOVEMBER
Mount Pleasant sold 40 condos and townhomes this November. It also had an impressive 86 new listings added to inventory. This gave it a 47% sales ratio. At the time of writing this blog, there were 3 condos listed above $1m in Mount Pleasant, and no townhomes listed.
MAINSTREET HAD 350% SALES RATIO THIS NOVEMBER
This November, Mainstreet sold 7 condos and townhomes. It also had 2 condo and townhome listings added to inventory. At the time of writing this, Mainstreet has only one condo for sale, and no townhomes!
OLYMPIC VILLAGE
Olympic Village is definitely growing in importance for real estate. It is the area that expands from False Creek to Mount Pleasant. It refers to the strip of land that runs along the False Creek waterfront (South side of the water) located between Science World and The Cambie Bridge. HOW DOES THIS COMPARE TO THE REST OF VANCOUVER EASTSIDE?
The overall sales ratio of Vancouver Eastside in November for condos and townhomes was 51%. This is far lower than the combined sales ratio of Mainstreet and Mount Pleasant, which was 199%. 0-1 bedroom condos and townhomes were the most popular, having a 70% sales ratio. Mainstreet has 1 one bedroom condo for sale as of time of writing this blog. Mount Pleasant has 7 one bedroom condos listed. Neither Mainstreet or Mount Pleasant have any one bedroom townhomes.
