Eastside Condos & Townhomes Grab Most Attention for Third Straight Month of 2022
To close out the first quarter of 2022, Vancouver Eastside condos & townhomes once again claimed the top performing spot of all Vancouver. This market climbed to increasingly-high sales ratios from 53% in January, to 61% in February, topping out at 75% for march.
Condos and townhomes all over Vancouver Eastside sold impressively fast this month. Everything below $1.5M in Vancouver Eastside’s condo and townhome market sold above 50% sales ratio. Here are the best performing price bands among this bracket:
- $700k – $800k Eastside condo & townhomes sold at 118% sales ratio (38 new listings, 45 sales)
- $300k-$500k Eastside condo & townhomes sold at 104% sales ratio (24 new listings, 25 sales)
- $500k – 700K Eastside condo & townhomes sold at 93% sales ratio (108 new listings, 100 sales)
- $1M – $1.5M Eastside condo & townhomes sold at 77% sales ratio (69 new listings, 53 sales)
Westside Condo and Townhome Sales Ratios Continue to Climb
Over the first quarter of 2022, the Westside condo and townhome market increasingly grew, claiming higher sales ratios than the previous month. In March, Vancouver West condos and townhomes garnered a 3 month-high, 56% sales ratio. This grew from February’s 44% sales ratio and January’s 34% sales ratio. The star performer for the month was condo and townhome sales in Kitsilano. Kitsilano condo and townhomes accounted for 58 new listings and 76 sales, producing an outstanding 131% sales ratio. Other strong performers for March both reside in close proximity: Fairview and Mount Pleasant. Fairview and Mount Pleasant condos and townhomes accomplished 63 new listings and 61 sales (97% sales ratio).

Downtown Condos and Townhomes Maintain Previous Month Sales Rate
Condo and townhome sales in Downtown Vancouver performed at the same rate as previous month’s high, 42% sales ratio. Here were the best performing neighbourhoods in Downtown Vancouver this month:
- Downtown condo and townhomes sold at 51% sales ratio (270 new listings, 138 sales)
- Yaletown condo and townhomes sold at 43% sales ratio (205 new listings, 89 sales)
- Coal Harbour and West End condos and townhomes sold at 33% sales ratio (276 new listings, 90 sales)
