Home sales in Vancouver Westside have slowed in recent months, creeping closer to becoming a buyers market. Homes in Vancouver West sold at a 12% sales ratio with average days on market increasing to 12 days in May. Although total sales are slowing into a buyers market, here are some neighbourhoods that are still selling well.
Kitsilano, SW Marine Selling the Fastest
Kitsilano homes sold the fastest of the Westside producing a 34% sales ratio from 38 new listings and 13 sales. SW Marine homes sold the second fastest, generating a 31% sales ratio from 16 new listings and 5 sales
Cambie, Shaughnessy, South Granville Selling Slow With Tons of Inventory
Cambie, Shaughnessy and South Granville homes all brought in an immense amount of inventory this month, but had the lowest sales ratios of the Westside. South Marine and Fraserview Homes are Most Popular
South Marine and Fraserview homes sold the fastest in Vancouver East in May, producing a 30% sales ratio from 23 new listings and 7 sales. Homes in Main and Fraser sold the second fastest, producing a 27% sales ratio from 49 new listings and 13 sales.
Fastest Selling Home Prices in Vancouver East
Homes that sold the fastest this month were priced $1.5M – $1.75M in Vancouver Eastside. These homes had a 33% sales ratio from 54 new listings and 18 sales. After this, $1.75M – $2.25M homes in Vancouver East sold the next fastest, producing a 24% sales ratio from 174 new listings and 41 sales.
