Shaughnessy, South Granville & Mackenzie Heights<\/a> (Vancouver Westside) had a relatively (compared to other hot markets) steady market at a modest 10.1% sales ratio (17 houses sold with 168 new listings added) in October 2021, significantly lower than the Vancouver Westside average of 17%.<\/p>\n

Shaughnessy had the most expensive homes offered, with 10% sales ratio!<\/h4>\n

Shaughnessy<\/a>, known for its heritage houses, is vastly residential. The VanDusen Garden<\/a> is located on the eastern side, making the area a great tourist attraction. The houses here range between $3.4 million $33.9 million (as of time of writing), making it a fairly expensive neighbourhood to invest in. Currently, there are 70 houses currently listed in Shaughnessy, with 6 mansions listed at over $20 million<\/a>. In October 2021, 7 houses were sold with 73 listings added for a sales ratio of just under 10%.<\/p>\n

South Granville sold at 11%, With Lower Price than Shaughnessy<\/h4>\n

South Granville is well known for a great blend of quiet residential streets with some of the most exciting shopping available. Detached houses\u00a0 in South Granville are offered at a range of $2.8 million to $12.8 million<\/a> (as of time of writing). The price range is lower than Shaughnessy, however more expensive than other Vancouver Westside neighbourhoods. There are 2 houses above $10 million in South Granville (Vancouver Westside)<\/a> out of just over 70 listed, and 8 homes traded hands last month with 70 listed for a sales ratio of 11%..<\/p>\n

Mackenzie Heights Had the Lowest Sales, and the Slowest Sales Ratio<\/h4>\n

Neighbouring Mackenzie Heights currently only has 19 detached houses available<\/a> (at the time of writing). In October 2021, there were only 2 sales with 25 listings added for a modest 8% sales ratio. The houses in Mackenzie Heights are listed between $2.88million to $8.88 million,<\/a> which is a similar price range to South Granville.<\/p>\n
