The neighbourhoods of <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.kenstef.com\/neighbourhoods\/549\/west-end\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">West End<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.kenstef.com\/neighbourhoods\/551\/yaletown\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Yaletown<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.kenstef.com\/neighbourhoods\/559\/downtown-vw\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Downtown VW<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> continued their jockeying for the lead in condo and townhome sales. Last month West End led with a 21% sales ratio, with Downtown VW at 20% and Yaletown at 18%. <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.kenstef.com\/neighbourhoods\/545\/coal-harbour\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Coal Harbour<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2019s lagging numbers left it with a 9% sales ratio.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">View <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.kenstef.com\/listings\/city-Vancouver+West\/area-West+End+VW\/type-Condo\/page-1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">all available condo listings<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in West End.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">View <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kenstef.com\/listings\/city-Vancouver+West\/area-Downtown+VW;Yaletown\/type-Condo\/page-1\">Yaletown and Downtown VW condo listings<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kenstef.com\/listings\/city-Vancouver+West\/area-West+End+VW\/type-Townhome\/page-1\">townhomes for sale<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The most active price band for condo sales in downtown Vancouver was for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kenstef.com\/listings\/city-Vancouver+West\/area-Coal+Harbour;Downtown+VW;Gastown;West+End+VW;Yaletown\/type-Condo\/bedroom-1\/min_price-300000\/max_price-1250000\/page-1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">listings priced between $300,000 to $1,250,000<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-543\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bcoceansideproperties.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/2022_AUG_KS_VanCondos.jpg\" alt=\"Infographic displaying downtown Vancouver condo &amp; townhome sales data.\" width=\"750\" height=\"500\" srcset=\"https:\/\/bcoceansideproperties.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/2022_AUG_KS_VanCondos.jpg 750w, https:\/\/bcoceansideproperties.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/2022_AUG_KS_VanCondos-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 750px) 100vw, 750px\" \/><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Eastside<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Regarding sales volume rather than sales ratio, the top three neighbourhoods in August 2022 are Mount Pleasant (20), <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.kenstef.com\/neighbourhoods\/585\/collingwood-vancouver-east-condos-single-family-homes-transit-modern-parks\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Collingwood<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (18) and South Marine (15). All other Vancouver East neighbourhoods saw single-digit sales of condos and townhomes during August. It\u2019s interesting how these neighbourhoods, for the most part once solely single-family homes, are leading the charge in sales of attached homes as larger multi-unit residential complexes are being built around mass transit stations. With a sales ratio of 48%, owing to 30 sales against an inventory of 63, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.kenstef.com\/listings\/city-Vancouver+West\/area-Fairview+VW\/type-Condo\/page-1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Fairview condos and townhomes<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> appear to be in demand during the month of August. Closely following are the Kitsilano and University neighbourhoods. Typically, Kitsilano has been associated with a younger population and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kenstef.com\/neighbourhoods\/573\/discover-prestigious-university-neighbourhood-vancouver-west-ubc\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">University neighbourhood<\/a>\u2019s namesake is the nearby University of British Columbia.
