Arbutus
Arbutus is an affluent and character -filled neighbourhood with tall, tree-lined streets and heritage homes. In the spring, these streets are filled with beautiful cherry blossom trees in full bloom. This neighbourhood is mostly residential with a few restaurants, grocery stores, shops and businesses scattered around.
Trafalgar Park is the main green space in the area with a playground for children, a baseball diamond, and lots of green space to enjoy. The Arbutus Club is a modern recreation complex with first class facilities, programs, and food and beverage services. Its services include its tennis club, aquatics classes, children’s programs, and much more. Just above Arbutus is Kitsilano, a neighbourhood full of lively eateries, trendy and unique shops, and a beautiful beach. Kitsilano beach becomes the place to be in the summer with beach volleyball courts, concession stands, sunset views and more!
There are many montessori schools and daycares in the area, along with Carnarvon Elementary School, Trafalgar Elementary School, and Prince of Wales Secondary School. Arbutus is in a great location, situated in the middle of Vancouver West with UBC to the West, Downtown to the North, and Vancouver Airport to South of it.
