While technically the southern half of what the City of Vancouver calls the Oakridge neighbourhood, South Cambie extends from W 49th Ave south to W 59th Ave along Cambie St. This is a largely residential neighbourhood with single-family detached homes accompanied by some multi-unit residential like townhomes or mid-rise condos. In terms of neighbourhoods as defined by MLSⓇ, South Cambie is one of Vancouver’s smallest. It’s anchored in the east by Langara Golf Course, a traditional-style public golf course, and Langara College. Schools in the neighbourhood include Sir Wilfrid Laurier Elementary, Sir Winston Churchill Secondary School and J.W. Sexsmith Community Elementary School.
