Main
Main is a neighbourhood which owes its name to the street which runs through it - Main Street. This street is a cultural and culinary hub of Vancouver, home to some of the city’s best cafes, artisan bakeries and unique restaurants. It is also home to the Vancouver Mural Festival, a yearly celebration of arts which takes over the blank walls of businesses and back alleys. For those seeking recreation and outdoors, the nearby Queen Elizabeth Park offers ample leisure opportunities with its various athletic facilities, hiking trails and indoor conservatory. There’s also the Hillcrest Community Centre, which features a rink, pool, baseball diamonds and community resources. This neighbourhood is also next to Nat Bailey Stadium, a baseball stadium hosting the Vancouver Canadians Baseball team.
