Central Lonsdale is part of the City of North Vancouver’s community and commercial hub. The busy Lonsdale Avenue bisects the neighbourhood and anchors the area. Residents in this heavily residential neighbourhood, which has blocks of both detached, single-family homes as well as attached homes like condos, townhomes and duplexes. The neighbourhood is home to many parks, like Mahon Park or Ray Perrault, along with schools like Carson Graham Secondary School and Ridgeway Elementary School. Getting to and from the neighbourhood is fairly easy too, as a short bus ride away is Lonsdale Quay Station where the SeaBus and the R2 RapidBus stop, and the Trans Canada Highway can be accessed at the northern edge of Central Lonsdale.
