Champlain Heights
Champlain Heights is a neighbourhood in East Vancouver marked by its curving streets, green spaces and mix of housing types. There is co-op and market housing, in both detached homes and townhomes, in this area of Vancouver which had abstained from development for the longest time. In fact, Vancouver’s fifth-largest park resides here. Everett Crowley Park is also where the City’s longest Earth Day celebration takes place, often marked by events around reforestation. Students in the neighbourhood can go to Champlain Heights Community School, which was designed by Vancouver’s most famous architect, Arthur Erickson. Champlain Heights is also close to Burnaby and is accessible by a mix of commuting options for both transit users and drivers.
