Strathcona
Strathcona’s shops, cafes and eateries throughout the area reflect the diverse community in the neighbourhood. Strathcona has a long history stretching back to being one of the earliest-settled areas of Vancouver. Today, this diversity is best seen in the neighbourhood’s culture and creativity. Residents in the Strathcona Neighbourhood can find many opportunities for recreation and relaxation. Chief among these is Strathcona Park. At Strathcona Park there is a Community Garden, a Running Track, Tennis Court and Skatepark. There is also the nearby False Creek Seawall.
